Trish is an experienced consultant who has worked in a large range of organisations developing and implementing learning and development systems, competency models, performance management systems, working to support culture change and reviewing and developing organisational capability.
Trish's experience in roles across diverse organisations allows her to quickly link into the business imperatives, and the culture of organisations. This insight enables her to develop creative solutions which "fit" the organisation and which will drive performance improvement. She is an experienced facilitator, designer and trainer, with excellent skills in developing and using assessment tools. Trish is a skilled coach and career consultant and has previously worked in retail, logistics, telecommunications, insurance and public sector organisations.
Trish has a Masters of Arts Psychology (Industrial and Organisational) completing research on authentic leadership.
Telecommunications Industry - The role involved developing the project plan alongside BBA programme managers for design, implementation and delivery of training. Identified training needs across different businesses, worked with subject matter experts and in-house trainers to develop training and manage delivery schedule.
Change management - worked alongside programme managers and technology team, managing day to day changes in technology and business requirements. Developed process maps and associated training material for Wireline, SOM, POM & customer management systems and trained a team of specialists to use the new technology. Towards the end of the project acted as Operational manager of team of 30 to manage day to day operations and communication across the business.
Shipping Infrastructure & Logistics Industry - Acting as Human Resources Manager completed a review of learning and development, worked on culture change project and implemented major changes to the approach to operational training. Post this role was contracted to design the behavioural framework for leadership that aligned with the culture; and design and deliver leadership development for Executive and middle management.
Telecommunications Industry - After completing a project as learning lead for a well known product launch I covered the Training Manager role for a year. A key focus was to develop the training team. The team required extensive up skilling to build their capability in training design and facilitation. This involved fortnightly coaching sessions and the implementation of new processes for the design and delivery of training which resulted in greatly improved outcomes In my role I also worked with Call Centre Managers, coaching them to develop their team members. I worked specifically on building the managers' capability to use the competency framework and to develop new skills in assessment, feedback and creating development plans for their staff.
